When I started noodling around several years ago with cocktails made from organic ingredients, there were a handful of spirits certified organic. These days, I seem to run across new ones about every month. Here’s an organic distillery I only learned about today – Bainbridge Organic Distillers, located on that preposterously picturesque island just off Seattle. From info on their work-in-progress website and a handful of news stories, they’re apparently the first certified organic distillery in Washington state. Very cool. Can’t wait to find out how to get my hands on some of their whiskey, gin and vodka.
