Famed NYC rock venue The Knitting Factory today completes its move from Tribeca to Brooklyn, opening tonight. New digs isn’t all that’s fresh. The club’s Knit Bar will be serving organic cocktails. Would love to hear how these drinks taste (if anyone remembers what they ordered or much else).

The first ever organic Islay single malt whisky will soon be coming to America! Bruichladdich Distillery just announced they’ve made an organic single malt. What’s more, managing director Mark Reynier tells me this morning that their American labeling should be approved within a week, and bottles of the whisky will be available in stores and online soon after through [...] UPS dude just delivered an advance copy of my organic cocktails book, Organic Shaken and Stirred. Looks fantastic (okay, my camera phone pic doesn’t do it justice so you’ll have to take my word for it).
